Today's restful moment, below Creag an Dail Mhòr, about 8hrs into a memorable 9.5hr day. Much as I'd have loved to stay there and soak up the sunshine, I still needed to walk another hour and then cycle back to the house 😵💫 What a weekend of weather!

Stunning day in the southern Cairngorms today. But it does make you sad to realise how much more biodiversity could be supported if the land was managed differently. In 7 hours I saw a load of grouse, 1 hare and 3 ravens.
