What a day! The joy! This is the weather we deserve after the last few weeks ☀️ My favourite walk of the year so far, so beautiful. Couldn’t have asked for better. I’ll come back and do these hills again #Scotland #Munro #SlowMunro #Hillwalking #Hiking

...and then today it was drain checking / maintenance on the main path up Beinn a' Bhuird, with three of our fantastic volunteers 🙂 I don't mind admitting I'm aching a bit, and generally flagging 😆 #rangerdailydiary

Lots of water (rain & rivers) & lovely autumn colours for our October trip to Roybridge. We climbed Munros & Corbetts, did some scrambling and explored the Glen Roy parallel roads & local woodlands. All in great company with good food and a cosy hut (great drying room!). Next trip to Kinlochleven.

Fabulous to see @invernesscourier.co.uk supporting a safety campaign for school children this winter. I look forward to reading their appeal for the council to prioritise gritting active travel routes and redesign roads for lower speeds. *click* Oh. www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/be-brig...
