Everything that makes AI bad for art, writing and music still applies to programming. Everything I've ever done in the public was stolen then used to train a model to replace me. It's sad that so many people are unwilling to consider that there is creativity worth protecting in code.

Yeah it's my biggest frustration in life right now honestly. I've been unemployed for two years now, because I'm not willing to use LLMs because I genuinely like the whole process of programming and don't want to give it up. The fact people believe code isn't worth protecting is heartbreaking.
