Repatterning is going well because @threadpig.bsky.social rules and can just slam that shit together in clo3d like it's nothing now. This is the v1 mockup of the top using scrap fabric we had around the house and I honestly think it's cute enough to keep despite being a prototype

I'm just going to use this as an excuse to redesign the paint legs to be more interesting and not have need for a panel over 36" long, but dang I wish it didn't mean needing to redesign and repattern the whole damn thing

I have made a critical error on this sewing project by not checking the *width* of this fabric and only ordering the correct length. It's not long enough to run the length of my leg without rotating the eyes 90 degrees to be on their side. Oops. In my defense, 36" is a pretty nonstandard width
