I’ve reached the time of year when, due to the weather changing, my bedroom door gets stuck shut and I have to pull on the handle with both hands like a cartoon character to free myself. But also, the exercise is good for me.

Today would’ve been my dear friend Christopher’s 65th birthday and I’m sad that I couldn’t get over to Forest Lawn to visit his grave, but I think I can tomorrow. I’ve put the photo he took of a very young and different me, back into my header here.

I’ll talk more about him in December when it will be 32 years since his death from AIDS related illness. Weirdly, the Michael Stipe album news kept popping up today and a friend asked me if I ever saw REM way back when and I did, with Chris, in South Buffalo of all places.
