A highlight of @laworldcon.bsky.social was reconnecting with my scifi #writing mentors! I met Joe and Gay Haldeman through an MIT class and the writing center about 15 years ago. They were so incredibly supportive and encouraging. Full circle moment: now I’m teaching/ mentoring students like them 🫶
