If you’re still wearing a mask, thank you. Please know you’re not alone. Many of us still mask, test and isolate when sick. Being the lone masker can be difficult, but your long term health is worth it. As a high risk, immunocompromised person… I see and appreciate you.

I think we missed a huge opportunity to normalize masking as a public health tool. We eradicated an entire strain of the flu with Covid prevention measures. Masking shows respect for those around you. It shows solidarity with the disability community. It shows you value long term health.

Yep yep! Wonder if I'm going to get more questions about my masking in a "is it because of Russia" way instead of a "are you ill or mentally ill" way I usually get. Suddenly feeling very confident in my mask stockpile.

That’s exactly where I’m at. We have to be careful not to share misinformation or sensationalize but we also have to be sure we aren’t overlooking a threat because we assume it’s being sensationalized. That’s a heck of a tightrope to walk. One good thing is there’s no harm in masking!
