I think I have to retire from animating. I’m in too much pain all the time to keep going. I will still produce and direct animations, but animating myself I don’t think is possible anymore. Even just drawing is a struggle. I want to curl up and stop existing. I hate this.

There isn’t a “right choice” in life. There’s no point in thinking about wasted opportunities because EVERY choice you make leaves “wasted opportunities” behind. But if only doing one thing is making you sad, art-related or not, then do it in moderation! You don’t “have” to pick one!!

Seeing all my friends travel all over to guest at cons and goof around together while I have to say no to cons and stay at home and work really makes me sad sometimes. Am I wasting opportunities and fun with people I care about over a project. I never feel like I’m making the right choice.
