There is no conceivable reason a person anywhere should make or have their worth increase more rhan 5 million usd in a year. That is more than most Americans will ever make in a lifetime. No one does anything to deserve that much money. No one needs more than that to live a comfortable life.

This is how abusers get left to abuse. It's practically tactical. "Look at all the great work I've done. You can give me access to vulnerable people because I'm a GOOD person." Joss Whedon is an excellent example. For CW ladden monsters dressed as angels look up Jimmy Saville or Rolf Harris.
