6,000 sq. ft. is larger than any home I’d ever want to own, but it’s not a crazy size – it’s a typical aspirational house size for a middle-class American. What’s crazy is that we’ve decided that there shouldn’t be any more 6,000-sq. ft. condos in NYC, so rich people do this instead.
