I thibk it would be for the best for the medical professions to have stricter rules about discussing patient care on social media. It’s a weird thing where like talking about anonymized patients at like a conference is fine, and ofc everyone talks to family about them, but social media is worse

i'm sure parents who exhibit transphobia or homophobia aren't considered "traumatizing" or "abusive" by these authors who might want to distinguish "justified" estrangement. the development of this narrative isn't coincidental, at the same time as governments are attacking trans youth worldwide.
