TL;DR: The rise of fiber photometry, as a method to look at dopamine dynamics, has led to the creation of different sensors (varying in DA affinity, kinetics, etc.) We must be wary about which sensor to use, especially when testing any drug on dopamine signaling! (as of now we like dLight1.3b)
