That there are people who want every book, movie, show and video game “personalized” via gen ai to the point they’ll never be able to share the experience of engaging the same art with another human being again is something to be discussed with a professional. This is an extremely anti-human desire.

Just like all things not all local indie stores are uh…good. There’s one by me that sells their used books for the same price as the new books and that doesn’t sit well with me…some of them are old library books that are real tattered and still have the library card inside 💀

Seeing a new psychiatrist and we got about 20 min in before she victim blamed me for abuse I’ve experienced in labor contexts. Which…I don’t think she would’ve done that if it was like romance abuse. IME, there’s this lack of empathy from professionals when labor is the primary source of violence.
