Played with a friend with both expansions and my friend really LOVED it (he gave it a 9/10) and it's a 8.5 for me. I know people didn't like the artifact tiles, I personally thought it was good but could be a problem for AP players and wouldn't add them in a 4P game (luckily they're modular).

Merge actually became more complicated during development as we needed to account for the bookkeeping loose ends I never wanted something mechanically “loud;” rather an omnipresent threat to normal area control incentives (ie. a natural reason for players to not want anyone falling too far behind)
