Going to go visit some gravesites of the subject of my paper. I still haven't figured out why Woodlawn Cemetery became the preferred burial location for Boston's Black community. Segregation/racism is always a possibility, but it was also more suburban and is a lovely spot, so maybe that too? 🗃️
