I have a PhD in microbiology and teach it at the college-level. In the classroom, I teach about the scientific method and how important it is to follow the evidence. In Congress, I’ll fight to protect scientific research, defend public health, and make sure facts—not politics—guide our decisions.

Add to that the psychology of low success rates. When they are close to 20%, maybe I don't worry so much about continuity and skip more cycles than when it's at 10%. Maybe there are now too many grinders who put in 2 apps per cycle no matter what (god bless you).
