Went to check on the latest Quoich pathwork this morning. I was a bit nervous about bringing so much stone into the woodland to deal with a muddy slope, but our contractors have done an amazing job. Looks like it's always been there 🙂 #rangerdailydiary

Just had my possible Splendid Waxcaps (right set of pics) confirmed which is exciting! Even more exciting the left pics which I identified as Scarlet (but weren’t quite right for) have now been identified as Hygrocybe neomarchii which is one I’d been wanting to see! 😀❤️ #fungifriends #mushroommonday

A lovely day #fungifriends wandering midst waxcaps in the Peak District 🥰 Finally caught up with & smelt the Cedarwood Waxcap & my first time seeing Bitter. A good day, 12 species of waxcap seen in total & if the possible Splendid is confirmed 13, not bad at all! Early for #mushroommonday 🍄 📸
