In asking people not to elect Greens, Eby is hoping to remove the only incentive he has to stop moving to the right. History teaches us centrism opens the door to fascism. The systemic change we desperately need will never come while leaders hold voters hostage under first past the post.

I dislike the energy in that picture so much. Many people in Kamloops that I spoke with weren't enthusiastic about any of the mayoral candidates but saw O'Reilly as the most likely to defeat Hamer-Jackson so held their nose and voted for him. I hope he has some humility but doubt it.
