You’re telling me that right wing voters that Labour was trying to appeal to voted for a right wing party anyway and left wing voters decided not to vote for Labour because they’re too right wing now? Who could have possibly predicted this.

BBC broadcast Farage's victory speech, saying, explicitly, in so many words, that people come over on small boats, move to the north of England, where they get given homes in preference to local people. BBC knows that is not true. BBC can issue corrections. BBC does not.

A day of policy making. He watches Escape from Alcatraz, which features an evil sadistic Warden and punishment by incarceration in the “hole”. Excitedly decides to re-open Alcatraz. Later, pondering why they don’t make ‘em like that any more, blames foreigners and tariffs their films. Then to bed.
