Denial is not the same as ignorance. ▶️ Ignorance is being too stupid to know the truth. ▶️ Denial is when one portion of your psyche knows the truth - but is afraid of it. So it gets shut down to hide it from the rest of your psyche. Ignorance can't see the truth. Denial doesn't WANT to see it.
