Hurricane Melissa is Category 5 as it makes landfall in Jamaica. 🇯🇲 The strongest known hurricane to hit the island. Sustained 185 mph (295 kph) winds and 892 mb tie it with two records for the strongest Atlantic storm on landfall. 🥺 It recorded the 2nd highest gust of wind on record at 241 mph.
