Why did I write a Minecraft book? Because last year a shy 11-yr-old boy brought two huge lobsters to my door I asked how much His dad said: No he wants to give them to you. He hated reading before your Minecraft book & now he loves it. He wants to pay you back THAT’S WHY I WROTE A MINECRAFT BOOK

We meet new readers in new ways. Sometimes we bring non-readers in, or back. I have emails from people saying one of my Assassin's Creed books was the first book they ever read cover to cover, or the first book they had read cover to cover in years. Better than awards, those emails.
