From today's walk 💖 I saw a wee moorhen but scared it as I got closer. I kept walking into spider webs and found about 4 wee money spiders crawling on me 🕷️

I can't wait til I get a solid window of time to invest into Blender so I can start applying all this new experience back into 3D modeling. Gunpla has done so much to reshape the way I think about mecha design, I can't believe it. I have *got to* stop being a baby about water slide decals tho, lol

also also (2/2): Folks were NOT kidding about the power of magic erasers for cleaning up panel liner. It's... absurd. Avoid if you don't want a matte finish, but if you do... you may be able to skip the sanding step entirely. PSA tho: @patbaer.bsky.social warned it can be troublesome on older kits!

also (1/2): The new Mr. Hobby panel liner pens with the brush tip are RIDICULOUSLY good, especially for abrasive surfaces like grills where it's easy to accidentally wear down the tip of a traditional Gundam Marker. I am almost definitely never buying a felt tip liner pen again lol, it's too good
