Your landlord will pay the property taxes instead, and pass that cost along to you in your rent.

In Ohio, a large amount of property taxes goes toward public schools. Good schools bring people into our communities and raise our property values. I also appreciate the people who voted and paid for school levies while my kids were in school. Now I do the same.

On deep level these people are just rejecting society itself. They do not want to participate. They do not care how society has benefitted and continues to benefit them. They don't care what happens to anyway else.
