We manually select our candidates, but then the paper ballots goes through an optical scanner. At least it leaves an actual record in case of a manual recount.

*sigh* the last two nights are a fun reminder that our kids seem to be predisposed towards dye sensitivity. Guess Parker is going dye-free. It’s for health reasons, since if he eats something with Red 40 I am far more likely to want to STRANGLE HIM. Stars and stones, but this kid is a lot. 🤬
