Oh it gets even wilder because someone found their website was promoting this artwork (seemingly ai generated) for an upcoming game release that purports to have 40 season passes already planned, you can spend $350 now and save hundreds of dollars! The same folks who are too broke to pay artists.

The response also featured the convention rep saying “we had AI on our website and when we got negative feedback we tried to hire people to get the AI off the website but they didn’t wanna work with us because we used AI - oh so what, you’re an artist but you don’t wanna help us remove the AI…?”
