You are correct. A study proved that due to the low administrative cost of the Medicare system, we could pay a fraction of what we pay each year for insurance and people would have better job mobility. SMDH

Everyone screams about paying higher taxes, but they don't seem to mind paying insane amounts monthly for their health insurance. If we had universal healthcare, taxes wouldn't go up as much as the astronomical health insurance costs.
