#DavidsMonthOfMusic day 18: a classical piece Lament For Two Violas I played viola for several years in the school orchestra. I don't recall what piece we played, but one year my first love and I (we were both violists) played a duet together for a competition and it was beautiful.

Played a gig tonight, and afterwards an older lady walked straight up to me and said, "I believe I remember you. I'm [name redacted.]" It was a legendary music teacher I knew as a literal child in Boston before we moved away. She was never my teacher, she just knew everyone. This was 40+ years ago.
