No surprise that our schools are the worst in the country for economic segregation - that's the entire purpose of New Jersey's extreme system of 'local control'. And the main tool used to ensure economic segregation is exclusionary zoning.

NJ is so proud of its supposed liberal values and supposed stellar education system, but turns out all it is is economic and racial segregation via exclusionary zoning. Build more dense, walkable housing and transit, and let's start getting rid of these tiny municipal fiefs everywhere.
