New preprint! 🎉 I analysed 1660 papers from 4 psychology journals and found materials sharing went from 9% of papers in 2015 to 82% in 2025, and these materials *do* get downloaded — a median of 135 times each. BUT shared code is often hard to run. doi.org/10.31234/osf... Let's walk through it 🧵

And finally I will talk about a large group project in which we show that pupil-size changes alone (independently of external stimuli) trigger retinal responses. dx.doi.org/10.1111/psyp... with @olaf.dimigen.de @hakankarsilar.bsky.social @anavili.bsky.social @veerahelmisofia.bsky.social

Then @veerahelmisofia.bsky.social will talk about her most recent work, dissociating contributions of arousal and optics to the correlation between pupil size and behavioral performance. dx.doi.org/10.64898/202...

@anavili.bsky.social will kick off by talking about this preprint, in which she uses pupillometry to track how attention shifts within after images. Very innovative work! dx.doi.org/10.64898/202...
