We lost our “baby kitten” Friday night. He was 16.5 years old, but even in the hospital, staff were in disbelief that he could be that age. He looked & acted a decade younger. His mother is yelling all over the house - it’s breaking my heart all over again. We had him since before he was even born.

Because like their grandkids have been exposed at their school? And that’s all they can figure to do? Which, had we not actually had measles cases here, I wouldn’t have thought twice about it. But like, I could actually come across these viruses now? Which is terrible in multiple ways

So I had been avoiding my vaccination appointment bc I didn’t want to have to deal with putting air in my tires (which is hard (?) sometimes?) But I finally did it today. I got a covid shot, a flu shot, and an MMR booster. The nurse at CVS said she’s been seeing lots more occurrences of this
