I don’t think I would ever make fun of Canadians even if I wanted to. I think if you grew up in the 80s or 90s in the US, you’ve always had, at least, the sneaking suspicion that they are MUCH funnier than we are.

Making my way home from Vancouver Island today as the world as I know it unravels around me. It truly is our game to lose now 🇨🇦. How do we want this to go down? We could come out of this SO much stronger. Let’s take this opportunity to revitalize and strengthen local food systems and economies.

What can we do? 1. Buy Canadian. Even better, buy local. 2. Boycott American. Look for “Product of Canada”, this means the item is 98% or more Canadian, or “Made in Canada”, means at least 51% Canadian content. Spend your travel dollars in Canada. 3. Support leaders that truly stand up for Canada.
