A tragic example is how Nanaimo General only offers clot busting drugs for heart attacks. There is no cath lab to do stents. Two doctors from the hospital say this is causing weekly death and harm. Nanaimo is also an NDP stronghold, but the party is dragging its feet in funding a new hospital tower.

We're making progress in our fight for fair BC ferry funding! I pressed the Liberals again in Parliament, and their response was somewhat more encouraging. But words aren't enough. Ottawa funds 43% of East Coast ferry operating costs vs just 3% for BC. We need fairness. Let's keep the pressure on!
