I'm not sure what you're talking about because Dolphin is about as plug and play as it gets. Some games might require tweaks to the settings to run with no hiccups, but Skies of Arcadia in particular doesn't do that. You download Dolphin, the game, run it and that's it.

i thought it was about the fact that a lot of the tools and techniques that were defined in the early days of an art form were made by men and therefore are subject to a male perspective no matter who uses them, though that may just be more film-theory-specific
