Trump's probability of engaging in any one particular catastrophic dumbfuck idea might not be very high but the Canadians still have to plan for it, since if it does occur it's effectively an existential risk (because grey zone ops can and do spiral into war over time).

so as i've said before i don't think Canada is at risk of any American invasion whatsoever *however*, i do think Canadian defense staff do need to be prepared for a scenario of American civil unrest or worse
