Sometimes I marvel at the degree to which tech bros fundamentally don’t understand teaching & learning. It’s grounded on give & take. Teacher & student learning from each other as they go—progressing towards knowledge. You can’t teach from a script. Well…you can. But that’s not really teaching.

The amount of multitasking happening in my brain while I’m teaching is stunning. Taking in information from students in real time, reading the room, recalibrating my approach, redirecting discussions, adjusting explanations, anticipating questions, & making dozens of split-second decisions.
