i think the worst thing you can say about someone is "fully aware of the harm it would cause, they acted based on their conscious beliefs and deliberate choices" but some people i guess aren't good at right/wrong and only understand yucky/yummy, so they get more comfy diagnosing Evilness Disease

idk, it doesn't matter and in many cases i don't even think it's incorrect exactly (though you can't really be right or wrong about someone having a personality disorder because 90% of the criteria are "what emotions does the clinician project onto you" and there is no other test to check against)
