Look. Everyone needs to vote and vote hard. But every day I’m seeing Democrats scoring body blows against Republicans and racists on the right and it’s honestly starting to feel like momentum. Also it feels like cocaine and I want to stay up and party and have more and more of it.
Show PostAs a Muslim who has been accused of dual loyalty and asked to denounce everything from ISIS to the Iranian state, I breathed a sigh of relief that I think I’d been holding in for like two decades watching this.
Show PostTwo smaller things I appreciate here: 1. Unless I’m mistaken, there are zero cuts or edits in this? It’s the whole conversation, start to finish. 2. The addition of “or not pray at all” every single time, which a lot of candidates tend to omit.
Show PostThe problem is always that on Congressional and Senate maps that are tilted so badly towards Republicans, the optimal strategy *in all of the individual competitive elections* is usually to run as a bipartisan problem solver even while the optimal strategy for the party as a whole is to trash Trump
Show PostThis even goes to Dem leadership, who in theory would be great guys to trash Trump, but often realize that the key elections are Joe Blue Dog running in a Trump +16 district and that saying Trump sucks ass helps that guy less than saying "uh border security and affordability"
