No that's just coz it was Tuesday - and it's a remote beach. There's far easier and less smelly beaches nearby... This is bird rock just off the coast. Sealion colony. Couple thousand of 'em. You can smell it from 2-3 miles away... Pretty fucking pugent.

Hah. Same. I visited on a massive round the country roadtrip a week before I moved here. I REALLY want to go up to the highlands & North Coast next time. Scotland is epic.
