I'm so old I remember when they threatened to cut off my SNAP bc I reported working for a day during the month. "If you have a job, even one day a month, you don't need assistance", is what I was told. Then they threatened to report me for fraud.

Just watched my sister speak as a State Senate candidate at No Kings Rather than capitulate on trans rights, she vociferously spoke about defending us and upholding our dignity as fellow humans The crowd cheered, and afterwards people thanked her for standing up for us It really is that easy
