Right, the problem was that it showed this correspondent was (1) biased & bigoted and (2) unable to understand what had actually transpired at the event, both of which are disqualifying for a reporter.

The violation of standards wasn't Abdul El-Sayed's actual tweet. It was Jan Crawford's egregious lying about what he actually said. And yes, if CBS still had standards, SHE would have been in violation of them, not him.
