The problem with vote compass surveys for me is they rely on being able to give "strongly agree" statements to pretty broad things to move one out of the centre. The "lawyer" and "academic" parts of my brain doubly object to any answer but "it depends". If you want me to strongly agree, be specific!

They were also asked if young people (NB not specified as trans youth!) should be able to access puberty blockers. Luxon approvingly cited UK Labour's policy 😖🥴 and claimed there's no evidence (wrong). Whereas Hipkins said it's a matter for the young person, their family and their doctors (right).
