It is time for state and local governments to arrest masked officers who won’t produce warrants and who have no proof someone is undocumented. Kidnappers should be arrested and indicted and tried for kidnapping and serve the many years such sentences carry.

I don't think this is a hard lift, and it may not be something that even occurred to folks as they were creating this alternative source of endorsements! But if they're going to (very legitimately!) point out the opacity of the Stranger's ownership, radical transparency is a good first principle.

I do think it does call the credibility of the lefty voters' guide into question a bit when the PAC that is paying for mass texts on their behalf was started by an ex-candidate who has spent many thousands of words complaining and theorizing about why the Stranger could have possibly not chosen him.

The text that accompanied the video and link to Robert's page said the Stranger was owned in part by "Amazon's top lobbyist." All we actually know (and the Stranger should disclose this stuff!) is that one of their board members is the WIFE of Amazon's general counsel (lawyer).

Just wildly escalatory and defensive behavior and gish galloping all day, and I genuinely don't know why. Refusing to answer 101 questions from reporters and then blocking them on social media makes this group look obsessed with the wrong things, much like Ron Davis.
