I wish people would just SAY what this bill is: An attempt to ruin the lives of trans people. This "no hate" message is fine, I guess, but AHH GEEZ does it give me flashbacks to the ineffective "no on prop 8" campaign. Voters don't respond to vague concepts like "hate," they respond to people!

💯 Incidentally I think this lack of community connection & only ever hanging w/ other centrist political consultants & politicians really skew one’s perspective. That is to say, these consultants truly believe they are progressives doing the lord’s work. Yes, it’s a religion. Same for tree NIMBYs
