Controversial liturgical opinion. The Psalms at Morning and Evening Prayer should be prayed in the Common Worship translation but according to the BCP 1662 Lectionary getting through the whole Psalter in a month. The Psalms make so much more sense prayed through from start to finish. ⚓️✝️

Another way this doesn't fit the US model is that while glp1 for diabetics has a pretty short term positive return, for uncomplicated obesity it's probably 10 or 20 years until breakeven on heath care costs, at which point the patient is probably some other insurance's problem

One small point is that current prescribing criteria often require being over some BMI threshold *and* demonstrating ongoing weight less. Except we know weight comes back if you stop the drug.
