I believe it is the responsibility of those WITH power to act decently in defense of those without, so if we're gonna get mad at people when Dems don't get votes I'm inclined to be mad at the party not the voters they throw to the wolves.

The thing that always blows me away on topics like this is like; all dems EVER have to do is be just barely better than Republicans and they can DEMAND everybody who isn't obviously evil vote for them?!? How the fuck is that a good system? The party owes the voters it's courting to be electable!!
