I really don’t think people understand what R* is like to work for. There’s no “field” it’s a black box you exist in. There’s no games industry or meeting people from it. It’s just you & the other people who work at R*. You don’t realize but they’re pitted against each other constantly.

And in 11 years since I left, sounds like barely anything changed. Outside noise never ever breached those walls back then. It seems now it’s unavoidable and accountability is finally being questioned. It’s about time.

I really don’t blame anyone who was told by their very own management that arguably this might have been “part of their responsibility to report“. It was always you’re either with us or you’re not. And my god, if you‘re not they make your life miserable. It’s a sad, manipulative situation.
