The bit that gets me is people saying "we need to pass a law…" There's already laws about riding or driving like an asshole, cops just don't enforce them because it's extra work, and dipshits know this.

It's not the bike, but I do think that twist-throttle eBikes attract a higher percentage of assholes than, eg, pedal-assisted models. Can't do much on trails, but I would like to see cops actually enforce existing road laws and confiscate the vehicles of people riding/driving like assholes.
