Seriously though not being able to use transitions on any state transitions that originate from useSyncExternalStore is ass. What's the canonical "best practice" here to fix store libraries? Not gonna lie I originally thought sync meant, well, sync, not synchronous. 😅

It breaks more than React. This issue isn't some weird React-ism. It's that any declarative UI that manages elements needs to know where they are at all times. It owns that part of the DOM. If something outside the library moves them around, or inserts things in between, things will go wrong.
