I am really shocked by their reply. They need to get this under control and stop messing about with genAI and these sorts of responses. I don't feel comfortable with this situation at all.

After going three times and each time getting a little bit more dubious about how the Con was organised, I realised it just wasn't a good fit for a small publisher like myself, I stopped going after 2016. My conversations with the organisers left me thinking, "WTF, do these people have no empathy?"😲
